Sauce can track how many sales are generated from your shoppable content and influencer campaigns, allowing you to see exactly which images or creators drive the most conversions.
You can track:
Sales from Sauce embeds (shoppable galleries/ Sauce TV)
Sales from influencer coupon codes
This guide explains how to add your Sauce conversion tracking code manually. Once installed, Sauce will automatically record order data every time a purchase is completed and display it in your Analytics dashboard.
🧩 Step 1: Get Your Sauce Conversion Code
Log in to your Sauce account.
Go to Visual Shopping → Add Tracking Code.
Copy the conversion code snippet provided.
From here, click to copy your code.
⚙️ Step 2: Add the Code to Your E-commerce Platform
Open your store backend (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.).
Go to your Checkout Settings — look for an area labeled:
“Checkout scripts”
“Web tracking code”
“Additional scripts”
“Custom code on thank-you page”
Paste your Sauce conversion code snippet there.
This ensures the code runs after a purchase is completed (on the “thank-you” or order confirmation page).

🧠 Step 3: Replace Placeholder Tags
Within your snippet, you’ll find a section like this:

Replace the placeholder text (shown in green in the image below) with your store’s actual order data variables — for example:
{{order.id}}{{order.total_price}}{{order.currency}}

✅ Step 4: Verify and Start Tracking
Once the code is installed:
Sauce will start receiving Order Number, Order Value, and Order Currency automatically whenever new orders are placed.
You can monitor your results in Sauce → Launch Pad, where you’ll see which content or influencers are generating sales.
