Steps to Request Permission:

  1. Navigate to the UGC Tab:
Open your Sauce Media Library and go to the 'UGC' (User-Generated Content) tab.

  2. Select the Media:
Choose the Instagram post that you'd like to request permission for.

  3. Click on Rights Management:
Find and click on the 'Rights Management' icon, represented by the little RM icon.

  4. Draft Your Request:
A message box will appear. Type in your permission request message here.

  5. Send Comment:
After you've drafted your request, click on 'Send Comment'. This will publish your message as a comment under the selected Instagram post. Note that we can only post a comment on your behalf if the UGC post is one in which you are mentioned. For non-mentioned posts, you will need to paste the comment on the post on Instagram.

Waiting for Approval:

  • Notification of Approval:
Once the content creator approves your request by commenting back with a specific hashtag, you'll automatically receive a notification.

  • Check the Status:
You can also see the status of all your pending and approved requests in the 'Rights Management' section, located under the UGC tab.

And that's it! You're now equipped to share user-generated content responsibly and ethically. So don't hold back—dive in and start leveraging this fantastic feature to enrich your brand's social media presence.
