Overview

If you're trying to add videos to your Sauce Media Library that contain copyrighted audio, you'll need to enable playback by connecting to Instagram's Basic Display API. This connection is crucial for activating many of Sauce's advanced features, including Influencer Lookups and User-Generated Content (UGC) support.

Step-by-Step Guide to Enabling Playback

  1. Connect to Instagram Basic Display:

    • Click the blue button to start the connection process.

    • Ensure you are logged into Instagram with the username that matches your Sauce account.

    • Follow the prompts to grant the necessary permissions.

    • Once approved, you will automatically be redirected back to Sauce.

  2. Access from Connected Accounts:

    • Alternatively, you can establish this connection anytime via the 'Connected Accounts' section in Sauce.

When Will My Video Be Playable?

  • Existing Videos: Allow up to 24 hours for your videos to start playing within your embeds.

  • New Media: Newly added videos will be playable immediately.

By connecting your Instagram account through the Basic Display API, you enable full functionality for your copyrighted audio videos within Sauce's platform.
